Generalizations in the world

'The people are so beatiful' That´s enough of the colonial tourism.

In Smith´s article called colonial tourism talk´s about  situations in the world of different cultures. Sometimes when you travel not everything is a fantastic adventure, you don´t know the history behind the mask. You don´t know what kinds of sufferings that country had for the people to be like that. People from other places treat other cultures like if they were a strange and weird human kind just because of being different from the others, and they can´t do that because they have to respect their constitution (rights and duties). The author says that people think in a superficial way. The people refer by savage "pure" communities, because they are from other cultures and they do another type of things. Also the author says that people generalize a lot because we "must accept the critical along with the welcoming, the angry along with the sweet, the righteously infuriated  with the abject and humiliated people, because people are human beings not our playthings."- SE Smith.

My opinion is that maybe we have to start thinking critically and not by a superficial way, because everybody is different from the others and we have to respect that, every single person is unique, they have their cultures  and rituals. Actually we don't have to generalize, we have to specify what happened, what do we learn, why it is interesting because we have to understand why the people acts like that. people of all the world treat the other people for only the bad things of that country, an example: muslims: terrorists and not all muslims are terrorist. Colombians: drug dealers, and actually not all colombians are drug dealers. An experience I had was when I went to U.S.A and one guy ask me if I had Wi Fi in my house or if I listened the same music that he heard(If I tell you the thruth I will answer you that I felt offended because practically he was saying to me that I was a "savage" or "pure" that annoy´s me a lot).

When I read the document these remind´s me another document of the guardian newspaper(noble savages) and also the testimonial of the lady in Michigan because the people in the world critizes people by his racial aspects or their religion or their nationality, and that´s not good because people in the world tend to generalize so then it starts to become a chain because these commentaries travel all around the world or by news or by gup or whatever people find to make damage, also we spread how do we see us, for example: when colombian actors and actresses start to do drug series or when we say a joke with drugs. If we change our way of thinking at the same time it will change our perception in the world.
